2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

Information You Provide Directly

• Contact form submissions — your name, company name, work email address, phone number, the IT challenge category you select, and any details you choose to share in your message. This is submitted voluntarily.
• Phone and email communications — when you call, email, or text us directly, we retain those communications to respond to your inquiry and maintain a record of our engagement.
• SMS opt-in — if you provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive SMS messages from IQ4hire, we collect that number and your consent record (date, time, and method of opt-in).

Information Collected Automatically

• Analytics data — with your consent, we use website and session analytics services to understand how visitors use the site. This may include pages visited, time on page, device type, browser, and approximate geographic location (country/region level).
• Server logs — standard web server logs including IP addresses, request timestamps, and browser user-agent strings, collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure.

We do not collect payment information, Social Security numbers, health data, or any other sensitive personal data through this website.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your inquiry or request for an IT spend diagnostic

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers, advertising networks, or list resellers, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. We do share information with suppliers in the course of the work you ask us to do, and those suppliers pay us if you buy through them — this is described in full in Section 4.

4. Who We Share Information With

We share information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers

We use third-party providers to host and deliver this website, to run our CRM and scheduling, to deliver our business email, and — only with your consent — to measure how the site is used. They process your information solely to provide those services to us, not for their own purposes.

Suppliers and Vendor Partners

To answer your request we share your details and requirements with suppliers who can respond — for example to produce quotes, proposals, or a shortlist. Those suppliers may contact you directly about their products and services, and handle your information under their own privacy policies. We also register opportunities with suppliers, which identifies you and your organisation to them.

If you buy through a supplier we introduce, that supplier pays us a fee and you pay us nothing. Where we carry out fee-based advisory work for you directly, we take no supplier compensation for that engagement.

We share only what a supplier needs in order to respond, and we never share your mobile number or SMS consent with any supplier (see Section 5).

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of IQ4hire, our clients, or others.

Business Transfers

If IQ4hire is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. SMS Messaging Policy & Terms of Service

Types of Messages You May Receive

IQ4hire uses SMS solely for direct, one-to-one business communications related to your inquiry. You may receive messages in the following categories:

• Inquiry follow-up — a response to a contact form submission or inbound call, confirming receipt and next steps
• Consultation scheduling — scheduling, confirming, or rescheduling an IT spend diagnostic or advisory meeting
• Appointment reminders — a reminder prior to a scheduled consultation or call
• Engagement updates — brief status updates during an active vendor selection process, at your request

IQ4hire does not send unsolicited SMS messages, mass marketing texts, promotional campaigns, or automated bulk messages.

How to Opt In

You opt in to SMS communications from IQ4hire by providing your mobile phone number via our contact form and submitting a request for contact. By providing your mobile number and submitting the form, you consent to receive text messages related to your inquiry. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of receiving IQ4hire's advisory services.

How to Opt Out

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time using any of the following methods:

• Reply STOP to any SMS message you receive from us
• Email contact@iq4hire.com with the subject line "SMS Opt Out"
• Call us at 404-902-2001

After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS messages unless you affirmatively opt in again.

Message Frequency & Costs

Messaging frequency may vary depending on the nature and stage of your inquiry. Messages will typically be infrequent — one to a few per engagement. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier and plan. IQ4hire does not charge for SMS messages.

SMS Data Sharing

Your mobile number, SMS consent record, and the content of SMS communications are treated with the same protections as all other personal information under this policy. Your SMS consent and mobile number are never shared with, sold to, or used by any third party or affiliate for any purpose. The only third-party infrastructure involved is our mobile carrier and any SMS delivery intermediary required to transmit the message — these parties process the transmission only and are not permitted to retain or use your number for independent purposes.

6. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, our legal basis for processing your personal data is:

• Consent — for analytics cookies, non-essential tracking, and SMS communications (you may withdraw consent at any time)
• Legitimate interests — for server log data used to maintain website security and performance
• Contract — for contact form data used to respond to your inquiry and fulfill a requested engagement

7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our website uses the following types of cookies and scripts:

• Strictly necessary — a single stored value recording your cookie choice, so that we do not ask again on every page. This does not require consent.
• Analytics — website and session analytics used to measure traffic and usage patterns. These are loaded only after you provide consent where required by law.

Analytics scripts are not present in the page until you consent. Nothing loads on arrival; if you decline, or make no choice at all, no analytics script is ever added to the page. Your choice is stored in your browser so it persists between visits, and you can change it at any time using the button below.

8. Third-Party Services

We rely on third-party services in the following categories, which may process data about your visit or inquiry:

• Website hosting and delivery — serves this site to your browser and processes your IP address and request metadata in order to do so.
• Domain name resolution (DNS) — resolves our domain so your browser can reach the site.
• Customer relationship management and scheduling — receives contact form submissions, advisory requests, and diagnostic bookings, including the details you enter.
• Business email — processes correspondence between us.
• Website and session analytics — measures how the site is used. Loaded only with your consent.

Each provider processes your information only to deliver its service to us. We can tell you which providers we use in each category on request — see Section 16.

None of these third-party providers receive your SMS consent or mobile number for their own use.

9. Data Retention

• Contact form and inquiry data — retained for as long as the business relationship is active, or up to 3 years from last contact, whichever is shorter.
• SMS consent records — retained for a minimum of 4 years from the date of consent or last message, as required for compliance purposes.
• Analytics data — retained per the analytics platform's default retention settings (typically 14 months).
• Server logs — retained per our hosting provider's standard log retention policy (typically 30 days).

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Objection / Restriction — object to or restrict certain processing activities
• Portability — receive your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent — withdraw cookie consent at any time (use the button in Section 7); withdraw SMS consent at any time by replying STOP or contacting us

11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale. 12. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including TLS encryption for data in transit, DDoS protection provided by our hosting platform, and access controls limiting who can view submitted contact data. SMS communications are transmitted over carrier infrastructure subject to standard industry security protocols.

13. International Transfers

IQ4hire is based in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. If you are accessing this website from outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Our hosting and DNS providers may process data in data centres globally. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other approved transfer mechanisms.

14. Children's Privacy

This website is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will indicate the effective date of any changes at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
